The Nashville Business Journal is pleased to announce the 2023 Best of the Bar honorees.
To determine our winners, we first accepted nominations from the public. Nominees then participated in a round of closed voting, with weight being given to votes from outside their firm or company. The top-scoring names are this year's Best of the Bar honorees, listed alphabetically below.
We're also pleased to announce this year's Lifetime Achievement honoree, Charles W. Bone. Bone served as county attorney for Sumner County for more than 20 years. In 2002, he co-founded Bone McAllester Norton PLLC, which in August 2021 finalized a merger with Kansas-City based Spencer Fane. Bone has served on a variety of boards and associations, including the American Heart Association (executive leadership team), Transit Alliance of Middle Tennessee (founder and former chairman) and Leadership Nashville (alumnus, board member).
